BiocontrolBiopesticidesBiofungicide

Bexfond® is a biological fungicide designed to protect your crops from harmful soil-borne pathogens. By creating a bio-barrier around the root zone, Bexfond® ensures healthier root development, improved plant growth, and increased crop yields.

Key Benefits:

  • Effective Disease Control: Protects against common soil-borne diseases such as Fusarium, Rhizoctonia, and Phytophthora.
  • Enhanced Plant Growth: Promotes faster plant development and emergence by activating the plant’s natural defense mechanisms.
  • Flexible Application: Compatible with various application methods and can be easily integrated into existing disease management strategies
  • Residue-Free: Safe for use in organic production with no harmful residues

Bexfond® contains beneficial bacteria that colonize the root zone, creating a protective bio-barrier. This barrier suppresses soil-borne pathogens through competition and the production of antifungal compounds, leading to healthier and more vigorous plants

We used Bexfond on some of our jalapeños last season and saw a good response controlling pathogen pressure. Our harvest for this crop is typically late in the year (October/Nov), so having biological tools in the toolkit to mitigate this risk is a big benefit. We applied alongside a conventional fertility and management program and was highly compatible to add in.
