  2. MetaGrow F product image#2Sustainable Growing Solutions, LLCAgList member manufacturerMetaGrow F13 endorsementsMetaGrow™ F Fungal Dominant Inoculant MetaGrow F (F) has a large and diverse fungal population to build higher level soil health and plant beneficial functions. Use F after establishing a well-functioning soil microbe population with MetaGrow ST or 5X+ with microbe food sources. MetaGrow F is the perfect product to complete the Regenerative Farming soil restoration process. The fungal components of soil microbe populations is often the last to successfully colonize and perform their important plant beneficial functions. We often see well farmed regeneratively farmed soils that have successfully rebuilt their soil bacterial population, diversity and function; but even after 20 plus years of their program the essential fungal population component is still missing. MetaGrow F microbes are grown at our plant from a microbe culture that is completely different from (but complementary to) our other vermiculture based products. The microbes in F come from a higher trophic level source than earthworms, which is naturally fungal-dominant and supports other higher trophic levels of soil life such as beneficial nematodes and arthropods. In addition to fungi and Mycorrhizae, MetaGrow F also includes a broad spectrum biology including bacteria, archea, actinomycetes, yeasts, micro-algaes, and bacteria phages. PLANT BENEFICIAL FUNCTIONS Microbe populations in F include: Nitrogen Fixing - 20 different species of Nitrogen fixing microbes at total populations of 1x10^8/ml – both free living soil Nitrogen fixers as well as nodulating Rhizobium N-fixers for legumes. Phosphorus Solubilizing - more than a dozen species at total populations of 1x10^9/ml including endophytic fungi which perform much of the plant phosphorus delivery. Many competitor microbe inoculant products are missing these vital workers. Cation Chelating - dozens of Siderophore microbe species at total populations of 1x10^9/ml improve plant nutrient status of Potassium, Calcium, Magnesium, Manganese, Molybdenum, Copper, Iron and Zinc. MetaGrow F also contains organic acids, amino acids, vitamins, enzymes and plant bioactive compounds. These bioactive compounds are built up in our MetaGrow products so the plants respond right after application. Competitor microbe products have to produce these compounds over time after application (which ours also do) which means our products provide faster and more effective plant response than competitor inoculants. - Liquid shelf-stable product that mixes easily for irrigation and foliar use - Compatible for tank-mixing with all fertilizer inputs - Suitable for organic crop production. CDFA-Organic listed. - Proven on over 70 different crops on every soil type to improve soil health and crop production Establishing diverse fungi in the microbial community provides many crop benefits: - Supplies and builds soil organic matter (SOM) – 1% SOM increases in a year are not uncommon; - Extends the root network and effectiveness, which improves drought tolerance and nutrient efficiency; - Improves soil structure and porosity, which: - Improves soil oxygen exchange for healthier roots and microbe metabolism; - Increases soil water infiltration rates which reduces erosion, runoff and ponding of water - enabling earlier planting; - Improves soil moisture holding capacity of lighter textured soils; - Increases soil Cation Exchange Capacity (CEC) which improves soil nutrient retention and plant nutrient availability; - Provides plant growth factors for increased germination rate, stronger and faster emergence with more uniform stands; - Reduces the frequency and severity of plant diseases by improved nutrient status and natural plant defense processes. Application Guidance MetaGrow F can be used as a seed treatment, root dip, in-furrow at planting, transplant water, irrigation injection and foliar application. Typical irrigation rate is 2 to 4 gallons per acre, monthly during the irrigation season or just before important crop growth phases. It’s also recommended on crop and cover crop residue to aid decomposition and future nutrient availability. For best results, apply together with MetaGrow MFOOD or CFOOD (0.5 lbs per gallon of F) and with other components of a balanced biological fertility program. Please refer to the product label for additional information and follow the advice of a qualified agronomist. Food Safe Production Process MetaGrow microbes are grown at our facilities from a diverse range of microbe cultures sourced from all over the world. No manure or waste product is used in our source materials. We utilize an intensively aerobic production process which assures pathogens and other plant toxins are not present. MetaGrow products are tested and certified free of pathogens. There are no application restrictions on re-entry or days to harvest. SGS MetaGrow Success Principles MetaGrow inoculants are designed to correct various imbalances in soil health, while also providing an extremely broad spectrum of microbes that repopulates the entire beneficial soil microbe biology. Our inoculants provide many different microbe species for each plant beneficial function. As a result of this diversity, MetaGrow products work well on all soils and all crops. SGS MetaGrow crop programs lower the total cost of inputs by reducing the need for fertilizer and pesticides. When plants achieve proper biologically supported nutrition most pest and disease problems just don’t occur. At SGS we believe that healthy plants direct healthy soil biology to actively deliver the nutrients they need, when needed and in the proper balanced proportion. 4. MetaGrow C product image#4Sustainable Growing Solutions, LLCAgList member manufacturerMetaGrow C6 endorsementsMetaGrow™ C Chitin-based Metabolism Microbe Inoculant MetaGrow™ C is a shelf stable microbial inoculant with a very large diverse population of microbes species selected and conditioned for their ability to consume Chitin. C is designed to reset the soil and canopy microbial community or to enhance microbial species diversity for healthier soils and canopies depending on the food source it is combined with. When combined with MetaGrow™ CFOOD or any other Chitin source as a food, C can be used to reset soil or canopy biology in remedial applications when they are out of balance. When combined with MetaGrow™ MFOOD as a food source, C can be used to increase the diversity of the microbial community for a healthier and more resilient (resistant to build up of pathogen populations) soil and plant canopy. In addition to the broad spectrum chitin consuming microbe population (dozens of genus and hundreds of different microbial species in very a high total population count), C also contains organic acids, amino acids, vitamins, enzymes and over 50 different mineral micronutrients. MetaGrow™ C is unique in that the microbes grown are only supplied with chitin based proteins. Microbes present in C can produce chitinase enzyme to break down chitin as a protein source to grow and reproduce. Applying C with a chitin based food source (MetaGrow™ CFOOD) results a temporary chitin-based food chain change in the metabolism in the soil or canopy. This metabolism change is like you changing your diet for a couple weeks. By temporarily taking the microbiology in this food source driven new metabolic direction, it creates the opportunity to restore and repopulate the soil or canopy biology. While this metabolism persists (peaks in about a week and persists for about a month), the chitinase capable microbes will be generating chitinase enzyme. Once this peak is past, we augment the reset of the soil or canopy biology by restoring the microbial diversity with our other microbial products, e.g. MetaGrow™ ST. Once the microbes have been repopulated and restored to balance and full function, it is much less likely that pathogens will return to an out of balance condition that results in economic damage to the crop. For improved microbial population diversity, use MetaGrow™ C with MFOOD (0.1lb to 0.2lb per gallon of C) as a food source for the microbes to multiply their population. Use C at a rate of 2 - 5 gallons per acre and 1 to 5 applications a year. To reset a microbial population that is out of balance, use MetaGrow™ C with MetaGrow™ CFOOD (0.1lb to 0.5lb per gallon of C) as a food source for the microbes to multiply their population and the affect at application. For resetting biology, apply C at a rate of 3-5 gallons per acre and 4 to 6 applications one week apart. MetaGrow™ C clears a 100 mesh (149 micron) filter so it is compatible with most sprayers and irrigation systems. Do not foliarly apply C to wine grapes less than 30 days before harvest.Crop & Soil HealthBiofertilizersMicrobial Inoculants
  5. PROVEN® 40 product image#5Pivot BioAgList member manufacturerPROVEN® 405 endorsementsPivot Bio PROVEN® 40 - The Only Gene-Edited Nitrogen-Fixing Microbe for Corn Harnessing proprietary gene-editing technology, Pivot Bio's PROVEN® 40 transforms naturally occurring soil bacteria into efficient nitrogen-fixing factories for corn plants. These innovative microbes deliver an in-season nitrogen supply during vegetative growth stages, when crop demand is highest, enabling farmers to supplement synthetic fertilizers and manure while improving crop consistency and building resilience in their nitrogen management programs. PROVEN® 40 is available in both a seed treatment (PROVEN® 40 OS) and liquid in furrow (PROVEN® 40 LIF) formulations. Key Benefits of PROVEN® 40: - Reliable In-Season Nitrogen Supply: PROVEN 40 delivers a steady nitrogen source to the plant roots during vegetative growth stages, when demand is highest, ensuring improved crop consistency and resilience. - Enhance Nitrogen Efficiency w/ a Third Source of N: Farmers can confidently supplement their existing nitrogen programs with PROVEN 40, helping them convert lost nitrogen into the most efficient pounds for their crops. - Weatherproof Nitrogen Source: PROVEN 40 provides a consistent nitrogen supply directly to the plant, helping growers manage risks associated with unpredictable weather and ensuring stable crop performance. - Improved Plant Health: Promotes stronger root development, improved nutrient uptake, and more uniform plant growth. Treated plants show increased resilience to environmental stressors, such as drought and temperature fluctuations, leading to improved standability and overall vigor. - Direct Atmospheric Nitrogen Absorption: Multi-year peer-reviewed studies have demonstrated a measurable decrease in the isotope 15N in treated plants, confirming that nitrogen fixed by PROVEN 40 microbes is effectively absorbed and utilized by the crop. - Yield Potential Optimization: By providing a reliable nitrogen contribution of 35 to 40 pounds per acre from the atmosphere during early growth, PROVEN 40 supports crop health and stability without compromising yields. This allows farmers to raise both the floor and ceiling of their yield potential. Getting the most out of PROVEN® 40 Pivot Bio prides itself on being a science-backed company steeped in research and committed to a full understanding of its products. The past two years have been particularly enlightening. Dryness was a hallmark of the 2023 season and 2024 featured a wet start for much of the Midwest. These extremes along with our rigorous in-field research improved understanding of PROVEN® 40 and the best management practices around it. Major takeaways include: - Versatile application options. PROVEN 40 can be used in-furrow as a liquid formulation or applied on seed, giving farmers more convenience at planting and a 60-day shelf life before planting. Both products, made and manufactured in the USA, can be shipped directly and quickly to farms. - Keep in-season nitrogen. PROVEN 40 microbes help spoon-feed ammonium to the roots of corn during vegetative growth, but they cannot fully meet the high daily needs of high-yielding corn on their own. Stick with your in-season nitrogen. - Optimize soil pH and nutrients to maximize nitrogen replacement potential. PROVEN 40 microbes only provide nitrogen. The corn crop still needs balanced soils and other nutrients. Make sure you’re not shorting your crop of sulfur (or any other nutrients) when replacing nitrogen. - Worthwhile trials require careful planning and analysis. Local Pivot Bio agronomists are available to assist with trialing PROVEN 40 on your farm, including nutrient testing and analysis. Find your local team HERE. Advancing Crop Nutrition Innovation PROVEN® 40 is backed by more than a decade of research, with validation across 6,147 fields in 34 states, involving over 2,500 farmers. 9. MetaGrow Decomposer product image#9Sustainable Growing Solutions, LLCAgList member manufacturerMetaGrow Decomposer2 endorsementsMetaGrow™ Decomposer Residue Decomposition Inoculant MetaGrow Decomposer (D) is a broad spectrum inoculant with thousands of microbe species that decompose cellulose and lignans into plant nutrients and soil humus. It is the most diverse crop decomposer inoculant available. Decomposing crop residue secures plant nutrients and soil humus, improves seed/soil contact and reduces pest and pathogen over-wintering habitat. Humus captures and sequesters carbon in the soil which increases soil nutrient and water holding capacity. It creates a healthier living soil and makes nutrients available for the next crop. In addition to microbial decomposers, D includes dozens of Nitrogen fixing and Phosphorus solubilizing microbe species. D also includes many fungal species which are very important workers in decomposition, especially for lignins. Most competitor decomposition inoculant products do not have ANY fungal species, let alone the hundreds of species found in D. BENEFICIAL FUNCTIONS Microbe populations in D include: Active Decomposers – The entire diverse microbe community is already in an active plant residue decomposition metabolism. Other microbe competitor products must adapt their metabolism to decomposition functions after application. This difference means our products colonize and break down residue more quickly and effectively even under adverse conditions such as very cold weather. Nitrogen Fixing - 22 different species of Nitrogen fixing microbes at total populations of 1x10^9/ml – both free Nitrogen fixers as well as Rhizobium N-fixers for legumes. Residue decomposition is the best opportunity all year for Nitrogen fixing in many crops. D also contains organic acids, amino acids, vitamins, enzymes and plant bioactive compounds. - Liquid shelf-stable product that mixes easily for irrigation and foliar application - Compatible for tank-mixing with all fertilizer inputs - Suitable for organic crop production.
