BoteGHA ES biological insecticide features the highly effective entomopathogenic fungus, Beauveria bassiana strain GHA.
BoteGHA ES controls insects by entering their bodies and
proliferating inside them. The germinated spores of BoteGHA ES
produce enzymes that dissolve the insect cuticle, allowing the
fungus to penetrate and grow within the insect’s body, killing it. The infected insect or mite can darken or turn change color as it dies. Under favorable environmental conditions, such as high humidity, the fungus can emerge from the dead insect or mite and release more spores to infect other insects and/or mites.
