Azotic Technologies Limited (Azotic®) was formed to introduce sustainable biofertilizer options around the world. Azotic has taken more than 20 years of academic research to become a global leader in N-fixing technology. Azotic is focused on the development and commercialization of technology which supports on-farm profitability and sustainability. Azotic’s flagship technology is a unique, patented strain of Gluconacetobacter diazotrophicus (Gd), a nitrogen-fixing bacteria capable of converting atmospheric nitrogen into a usable form for multiple crop species. Gd was first commercialized in 2019. Azotic’s state-of-the-art facilities located in York, UK, allow for continuing research and development.
